Excellent food and service. Staff members are so nice and polite. I definitely recommend this restaurant for Chinese food. Chicken delight combo is amazing. More than enough for 2 people and priced under $10.

Love the Chinese food. Love the Chinese containers. The containers make it a fun Chinese dinner experience. Have told all my friends about it and they are regulars just like I am. Very classy Asian style restaurant with reasonable prices.

Excellent Excellent Excellent! I always love eating at South Sea for lunch. I bring in new business colleagues all the time. It is a very nice atmosphere to dine and to have a meeting with clients afterwards. The staff is very good at recommending new items to sample.

I have never been to South Sea but have heard it from a colleague at work, so we tried it out dining in. Without any question, we received the most outstanding and charmful service by the young Chinese guy who served us. He barely looked 20, but yet he knew practically the contents of every entree by memory, where it was on the menu, plus he gave me a detailed overview of the best recommendations in a pictured menu. No server has ever been so thoughtful to do such a gesture. He also made my group the best cocktails ever with beautiful presentation and fruit garnish as if we were really on a tropical resort. I ordered the Electric Lemonade and the South Sea Peach Paradise, and they both tasted superb. He was making drinks for other tables as well. and you can tell from his technique and moves that he's a professional bartender like you would see on TV. The food was excellent and you can taste the fresh ingredients they use. I had their executive dinner for 4 which came with 4 courses, Wonton soup, and a deluxe appetizer combination platter. Their spring rolls and general chicken are the best I ever had anywhere. Our guy server was also handling take out orders and answering phonecalls. I have never seen such charisma and professionalism in such a young individual. Wonderful meal, but outstanding delightful service to go with it. Will be back just to be served by him again!

The cocktail drinks are prepared very beautifully with fresh fruit. All their plates are very trendy (they're all square plates!). I love the authentic Asian decor and the soft Chinese music they play while dining. Service was top notch. Very attentive and extremely personable waitstaff. I had a wonderful evening and will come back very soon and bring my whole family. The place was busy so you know it's great food. Food was served very promptly in light of the high volume of patrons.

Elegance, trendiness, delicious, and 5-star attentiveness are the keywords that come into mind when mentioning South Sea Restaurant. Absolutely the most remarkable presentation of food I've seen. Very very stylish plate presentation. The plates themselves are so elegant. Very beautiful square plates and bowls. They garnish everything with unique flowers. Equally a hit is their service. The Chinese boy that served me is always so bubbly and charming I can't help but smile he takes my order. A definite must try. The prices are very low too. An authentic Chinese Restaurant that also serves some of the traditional Thai dishes. The restaurant is located where all the fabric stores are on Ottawa street. I got one of their take out menus, and it says they even have a website www.southsea.ca
